eLIS has been designed by the IDSC staff, to be compatible with the latest technology used in library field and computer systems.

eLIS is a web based system, uses MARC21 format to build the bibliographical batabase.

eLIS provides many facilities to assist performing library activities: Acquisition, Serial control, Cataloging, information services, and library holdings inventory.
